Motivation and consistency.

You are the most motivational, positive, and inspiring person I’ve ever met! Having grown up in the cheerleading and dance worlds, that’s saying a hell of a lot! When I am lacking motivation to “show up” or just give it all I have, I simply think of you.

What would you say to someone on the fence about coaching with Heather?
Why are you on the fence?? It’s a “no-brainer”! I can confidently say that Coach Heather IS everything you’re looking for in a coach!
What did you struggle with before?
Consistency, relationship with food, using extreme measures to attain goals, confidence in myself/body, and trying to be invisible/not ask for help.
How did Heather help you with that?
First, you explained the importance of realistic goals. Then you encouraged me to pick a goal or two and commit to a consistent schedule. After I became consistent, we worked on building muscle and practicing movement. This greatly increased my mobility and body confidence. The relationship with food improved while having honest discussions with you and feeling better about myself with the workouts.
Are there any specific results that Heather has helped you achieve?
Wow, there are a lot. Mobility and body confidence have increased, I am much stronger, and movement when lifting weights/performing exercises takes precedence over how much weight I can actually move. I look at food as fuel, and my relationship with food is much healthier. I have realistic goals. I don’t think I would have been so brave and confident in my cancer treatment and recovery without you. 💞💞💞
What would you say to someone on the fence about coaching with Heather?
Make a 3-month commitment to start and really commit to the guidance. The greatest investment you can make is in yourself, and this is investing in your health. You will not be sorry. The small changes lead to meeting small goals, and that leads to better health.
How did Heather help you with that?
Years ago, I was anorexic. Unfortunately, due to some trauma, I forced myself to eat in an effort to gain weight as a form of protection. This situation ruined my self-esteem. I was able to confide in you about my situation, and you not only provided physical support in helping me reach my goals, but you shared compassion and understanding, offering emotional support as well. I truly appreciated you reaching out and providing suggestions and support when my daughter got sick, and I couldn’t make it to the gym. You reminded me of my goals and held me accountable, ensuring I remained consistent to achieve those goals.
I wasn’t sure what training with you would look like because of my injury, but you were always so bright and bubbly when I walked into the gym. It made me happy to train with you because I knew you would modify exercises based on my injuries, pain, or energy levels, yet you always pushed me to achieve more. When I couldn’t lift weights because of an arm injury, you helped me lift them with my legs. You taught me that I could do things I thought were impossible, which helped me gain more confidence in myself and my ability to continue.
Thanks to you, I no longer need shoulder surgery, and I’ve finally made so much progress and gained self-confidence for the first time in over a decade.

Confidence and motivation.

You helped me perfect my form, which in turn has made me much stronger. You taught me good stretches for mobility that I try to use every day for my back and neck pain from sitting at a desk all day. You also helped me realize that weight will fluctuate and not to focus so much on the scale. As long as I am showing up to the gym, I should be proud of myself for that.
